Compliance with laws, rules and internal guidelines has the highest priority at PAW. Because only if rules and standards are observed, can we avert damage to our company, our employees and business partners. Misconduct must therefore be recognised at an early stage, processed and remedied immediately.

This requires the attention of everyone and their willingness to disclose possible serious breaches of rules if there are concrete indications. We also value corresponding information from business partners, customers and other third parties.

Use our hotline or write us an email to report compliance incidents. You can do so anonymously if you prefer. In the event of an anonymous report, STIEBEL ELTRON assures you as an informant that it will not take any steps to identify you. An exception to this is misuse of the compliance contact.

The EQS Integrity Line whistleblowing system is responsible for disclosures relating to legal violations and rulebreaking. This is understood to mean violations which, in particular, seriously impair the reputation or financial interests of the STIEBEL ELTRON Group or one of its companies.

The whistleblowing system is an important element of good corporate governance. Within the framework of a fair and transparent procedure, the whistleblowing system protects the company, the affected parties and the informants. The system is based on faster, standardised processes, as well as confidential and professional processing of disclosures by internal experts.

EQS Integrity Line guarantees the greatest possible protection for informants and affected parties. An investigation will only be initiated after careful examination of the disclosure and if there are concrete indications of rulebreaking. The investigations are conducted with the utmost confidentiality. The information is processed in a fair, fast and confidential process.

How is the handling of personal data regulated?

Your messages are treated as strictly confidential. Your identity or means for establishing your identity are not passed on, barring exceptional cases where legal requirements make it compulsory to do so (for giving evidence in court). In certain cases we are required to inform the accused person that a message concerning them has been received. This would occur at a time when issuing this information would no longer affect how the case was pursued. Data is only stored for as long as it is required for handling the case. The information is subsequently deleted or made anonymous, so that details relating to the informant’s identity are irreversibly deleted.

How to report compliance issues correctly

It is important that the disclosure you report to the Investigation Office is as specific as possible so that it can be properly processed and investigated.

It is helpful if you consider the following questions in your report:

  • Who?
  • What?
  • When?
  • How?
  • Where?

As an informant, please ensure that your descriptions can also be understood by non-specialists.
